At 9 months, Emma can now wave bye-bye. It’s so cute!! She waves her hand right-left and up-down. Melts mama’s heart.
She also can crawl up a full set of stairs. Not sure if that’s a good thing. Both times she did it, I was right behind her to catch her if she fell but still.
I can’t believe how well she is walking with the help of her elephant scooter. I wonder how it will be before she walks on her own?
Today Emma slept straight from 8:30 pm to 6 am. I could get used to her sleeping straight through the night!! Wahoo!
Windows are installed. We are getting closer! 🙂
My little girl is getting so big, it’s ridiculous! Emma is 20.6 lbs. She loves when daddy holds her laying on her belly and flies like superman. She is constantly pulling herself up into a standing position and stepping side to side along furniture. She has currently tried green beans, peas, avocado, sweet potatoes, bananas and monavie. She loves monavie! Ha! She recently tried eating toilet paper. She wasn’t impressed though, ha. She currently wears 12-18 month clothes. She is saying ma, ma more. It’s normally when she is tired or crying. She crawled up her first stair step last night too. We couldn’t believe it.
Love her to the moon and back!
Tonight we got rid of her pink sparkle bath tube and tried out the tub like a big girl. She loved it! I can’t believe how fast she is growing!!
Each week it’s starting to look like more and more like a house.
Emma recently discovered that a toilet has water in it. She likes to tough the water, how lovely! She also discovered toilet paper. She tried eating it but wasn’t impressed. It doesn’t compared to breastmilk and baby food.
We went out to dinner tonight to celebrate Michelle’s and Nicks birthday. Emma loved it. She was so entertained by all the people walking by plus all the lights and decor. It’s amazing how much she is starting to look like a little girl versus a baby. Ben gets her to laugh like crazy. I love watching those two together.
Alert the media, Emma slept 7.5 hours straight! I couldn’t believe it. I felt like a million bucks when I woke up at 3 am to nurse her. Hopefully she continues this sleep pattern. Whoohoooo!
