Last couple of days in 2014

Christmas flew by in a blink of an eye. Looking forward to having New Years off so I can hang out with Emma all day.

Emma’s 1st Christmas

Ohhh my, Christmas was so amazing with Emma! It was so fun to watch her. She wasn’t as scared of Santa as she was previous times. We had a house full on Christmas Eve; it was perfect! So blessed!

8 months!

Look who is 8 months! Emma weighs 20 lbs 12 oz and is 28″. She currently wears 12-18 month clothes. She is attempting to crawl. She takes one or two steps crawling then pushes back on her butt. She will be crawling soon I just know it! (She officially started crawling on Christmas Eve -8 months 5 days old). She can already pull herself up to a standing position so walking will be soon on the list too.

She brings us more joy than we ever could have even imagined! Love her so! ❤️

Santa at the zoo

Taylor and I took the kids to the zoo yesterday to see Santa. The weather was awesome. Who would have thought that we could have a 40 degree day in December? Emma was still freaked out by Santa but Ben distracted her some.

Santa is scary

Emma got to sit on Santa’s lap for the 1st time today. I was kind of surprised by her reaction. She instantly started crying. I got her to calm down and we tried it one more time, again she freaked out. Ha!

Tonight we went and looked at Christmas lights as a family. It was so nice, the weather was perfect. There was a Santa outside at one of the houses we were looking at. We went up to him with Emma and again she looked at him for one second and then started crying. I didn’t think anything scared her but apparently Santa does!

Life lately…

Here has been what’s happening lately. We just had another appointment with the helmet specialist. Emma only has to wear it 2 more weeks, yay!

She is starting to get teeth #2 in. I can’t believe how quickly she changes. She is continuing to scoot in the floor. She hasn’t perfected crawling yet. Soon enough it will happen.

As for me, I chopped my hair. I needed a new look. 🙂
